- His death. "Leif Jensen of 429 Linden avenue, Wilmette, formerly of Glencoe and Highland Park, June 26, 1955, suddenly, at Lake Geneva, Wisconsin, husband of Agnes Jensen; father of Robert W. Jensen, Mrs. George Banta III, and Mrs. Thomas Patterson; eight grandchildren; brother of Leonard and Alvin Jensen, Mrs. Marie Hemwall, Mrs. Daisy Woods, Mrs. Goldie Holm and Mrs. Eleanore Shanahan. Resting at chapel, 1567 Maple avenue, Evanston, where services will be held, 2:30 p.m. Wednesday. Interment Mount Olive cemetery."

- His death. "The funeral of Leif Jensen of 429 Linden av., Wilmette, formerly of Highland Park, a broker, will be held at 2 p. m. tomorrow in the chapel at 1567 Maple avenue, Evanston. He died Sunday at Lake Geneva. Mr. Jensen was for many years associated with Paul H. Davis company, now Hornblower & Weeks, as a partner and customers' man. He leaves a widow, Agnes; a son, Robert, of Highland Park, and two daughters, Mrs. Virginia Banta of Menasha, Wisconsin, and Mrs. Muriel Patterson of Kenosha, Wisconsin."

Banta's post, the Maxton air base. Corp. Banta was graduated from Shattuck Military academy, and he and his bride attended Lawrence college."
