An idolater who holds a feast for their son’s or daughter’s wedding—it is forbidden for an Israelite to eat there, even if they eat their own food and their own servant stands by and serves them. From when is it forbidden? From the time preparations for the feast begin and for 30 days after the wedding feast. If the idolater says they are inviting [the Israelite] specifically for the wedding, it is forbidden until 12 months have passed. After 12 months, it is permitted unless the idolater is a distinguished person.

If the idolater holding the wedding sends live poultry or fish to the Israelite’s home, it is permitted [to accept and eat them].

(Similarly, it is permitted if they send properly slaughtered meat to the Israelite’s home) (Beit Yosef, citing Teshuvot HaRosh).

שלא יאכל הישראל עם העובד כוכבים אף על פי שאוכל משלו ובו שני סעיפים:

סעיף א

עובד כוכבים העושה משתה לחופת בנו או בתו -- אסור לישראל לאכול שם, אפילו אוכל משלו ושמש שלו עומד עליו ומשמש. ומאימתי אסור? משיתחיל להכין צרכי הסעודה ולאחר ימי המשתה ל' יום. ואם אומר שמזמינו בשביל החופה -- אסור עד י"ב חדש ולאחר י"ב חדש מותר אלא אם כן הוא אדם חשוב:

סעיף ב

אם העובד כוכבים שעושה חופה שולח לבית הישראל עופות חיים או דגים -- מותר.
