295: Havdalah Recited by the Sheliach Tzibbur.

Gloss: And we say "And let the graciousness be..." and the Order of Kedushah lengthily in order to delay the Order of Kedushah, for then the wicked return to Gehinnom (Tur). And at a time when we do not say "And let the graciousness be...", like when a Yom Tov falls during the week, we do not say the order of Kedushah, but we say "And He shall give you..." (Kol Bo).

1 The prayer leader recites Havdalah in order that one who does not have wine may fulfill his obligation. Gloss: And it is the custom to say and to mention Elijah the Prophet on Motzei Shabbos, to pray that he shall come and announce for us the redemption. (Tur).
