Translation:Shulchan Aruch/Orach Chaim/267

267ː The Law Pertaining to Prayer on the Eve of Shabbat. Contains 3 seifim.

1 Tachanun is not said during the prayer of minchah on the Eve of Shabbat.

2 Evening Service is recited earlier than on weekdays. And during plag haminchah, one could light and accept Shabbat in the prayer of ma'ariv, and one may eat immediately. (And see above, Siman 253, how we measure the time for plag haminchah).

3 One does not conclude the blessing of Hashkiveinu with "He Who Guards His people, Israel". Instead, when he reached "and shelter us under the shade of Your wings", he says: "and spread the shelter of peace over us and over Jerusalem, Your city. Blessed are You, God, Who Spreads the shelter of peace over us and over His people, Israel, and over Jerusalem".
