Death of his wife. "Funeral services for Mrs. Amy O. Rappleyea, 83, who died yesterday of a complication of diseases at the M. E. Home for the Aged, 63 Clark avenue, Ocean Grove, will be held tomorrow afternoon at 2 at the home. Rev. James William Marshall of Spring Lake, chaplain of the home, have charge. Interment will be made at Willow Grove cemetery, New Brunswick, under direction of Matthews and Francioni, funeral directors."
Death of his wife. "Mrs. Amy O. Rappleyea, 83, died yesterday morning of complications at the M. E. Home for the Aged, Ocean Grove. She had been a resident of the home since 1926. Her nearest surviving relative is grandson, L. S. Gallandet, of Baltimore, Maryland. Funeral arrangements, in charge of Funeral Directors Matthew & Francioni, are pending word from the grandson."
His widow's address. "The names listed herewith are former residents of New Brunswick who will get invitations to return for the 200th anniversary celebration next October: … Mrs. Amy O. Rappleyea, 62½ Cookman avenue, Ocean Grove."
