- His death. "Edward Bonn, sixty-three, a resident of this village for many years, died at the home of his son, John H. Bonn, 45 Browndale Place, Saturday night, following a lingering illness. Funeral services were held from his late home yesterday morning at 11 o'clock. Rev. Stanley S. Kilbourne, rector of St. Peter's Episcopal Church, officiated. There were many beautiful floral tributes received from his relatives and friends. Interment took place in Greenwood Union Cemetery, Rye."

- Death of his wife. "Mrs. Minnie Bonn, fifty-two years of age, died at her home, 807 Post Road, yesterday, following an illness of more than two years. Deceased is survived by her husband Edward, a son John, and three sisters, Mrs. Massie [sic], Mrs. Davis, and Mrs. Lindendolf [sic], all of the above address. The funeral will take place tomorrow afternoon, attended only by the immediate family. Rev. Stanley S. Kilbourne, rector of St Peter's Episcopal Church will officiate. Burial will take place at Greenwood Union Cemetery."
