Your Excellency,

I have the honour to acknowledge receipt of Your Excellency's letter of today's date confirming the oral arrangement between us whereby the Turkish Government undertake to pay to His Majesty's Government in the United Kingdom in ten annual instalments and without interest, the sum of £T. 107,100 in full liquidation of unexecuted judgments of the Anglo-Turkish Mixed Arbitral Tribunal.

2. By direction of my Government I have the honour to confirm to Your Excellency their acceptance of this arrangement the terms of which are stated in Your Excellency's letter as follows:—

3. I take note that on receipt of this letter Your Excellency will take steps to ensure that the competent Turkish authorities will receive the necessary instructions to effect payment in accordance with the arrangement.

I avail myself of this opportunity to renew to Your Excellency the assurance of my highest consideration.
