VIII. Any Probationer may be dismissed from the Reserve for—

(a) Neglect or omission to make the regular appearances before some Registrar, and for misconduct when ap- pearing before a Registrar on business connected with the Reserve.

(5) Repeated or aggravated desertion from merchant ships.

(ec) Producing false certificates or making false statements at the time of, or subsequent to, enrolment.

(d.} Serving in a false name. {e) Conviction in e Court of Law or Justice (f} Pledging his Certificate R.V. 2 as security for debt.

TX. All claims for the allowance should be sent to the Board of Trade, with a statement of the services in respect of which such claim is made. -

Notices of Meetings.*

In all cases of meetings in which, by the provision of the Act 8 and 9 Vict. cap. 83,+ notice of intimation is required te be given, without prescribing the particular form of the notice, or the manner in which the same is to be given, such notice shall be given in the form and manner following :—

2. In all cases, and in whatever form the notice may be given, it shall be given ten free days before the day of the meeting.

" Where the Parish Council has not made Regulations as to the notive of their meetings under section 19 (2) of the Local Government Act, 1994 (57 & 58 Vict, o, 88}, the Rules of 13th October, 1845, and 11th Augnet, 1875, will remain in force so far aa applicable. But the Board recommend all Parish Councils te make regulations or te adopt the Model Standing Ordera issued by the Board on 17th July, 1895,
