6. Should the supposed lunatic, or anyone on his or her behalf, object to an order being made by the Judge in the matter of the alleged lunacy, he or she may file with the Clerk of the Peace, at least three clear days before the first day of the sitting of the Civil Bill Court, such affidavits as be or she may think fit, serving notice of such filing on the solicitor for the petitioner, and the Judge shall consider the same with such other evidence, oral or otherwise, as he may think proper; or should the Judge, in the absence of such objection, consider the evidence in support of the Civil Bill insufficient, he may by order require such other evidence as he may deem necessary or expedient to be brought before him, and may direct any qualified medical practitioner, other than the practitioner upon whose affidavit the Civil Bill has been grounded, to visit the supposed lunatic and to report confidentially to the Judge upon the circumstances of the case.
7. The qualified medical practitioner so visiting and reporting under the direction of the Judge shall be allowed such fee as the Judge may think right, to be paid by the petitioner or by the solicitor having carriage of the proceeding, upon the certificate of the Clerk of the Peace.
8. It shall be lawful for the Judge by order, upon the hearing of the Civil Bill, or by any subsequent order in his discretion, whether upon motion or otherwise, to direct the investment of any fund, the property of the lunatic, in such securities and subject to such conditions as may seem fit, and to direct such accounts as he shall think necessary, to be passed by the guardian of the lunatic's fortune, at such times and in such manner as he shall appoint, and all such accounts shall be taken by the Clerk of the Peace and filed in his office.
9. Immediately upon the signing of any order by the Judge declaring it to be established to his satisfaction that an alleged lunatic is of unsound mind, and incapable of managing his or her person and affairs, it shall be the duty of the Clerk of the Peace to send notice of the making of such order, with a copy thereof, to the office of the Registrar in Lunacy, Four Courts, Dublin, and such notice or order shall set forth the amount of the lunatic's property, and of the net income thereof, ordered by the Judge to be applied for the lunatic's benefit.
10. In the event of any increase taking place in the property of the lunatic, the guardian appointed under the Judge's order shall notify the same to the Clerk of the Peace, and in case any such increase shall enlarge the property of the lunatic beyond the statutable limit, it shall be the duty of the Clerk of the Peace to notify the fact to the office of the Registrar in Lunacy in Dublin.
11. Every application, subsequent to the filing of the Civil Bill, shall be made to the Judge by motion founded upon a suggestion of the facts necessitating the application, filed with the Clerk of the Peace, which suggestion the Judge, if it should seem fit to him, may direct to be verified by affidavit, and the
