Allowance on Tobacco Samples. Code; Paragraphs 161 and 527 Amended.
The Board have approved of amendments to paragraphs 161 and 527 of the Code, as follows:—
Paragraph 161.—If samples are not returned when the goods are re-weighed or otherwise cleared for home use, the weight of such samples, less the allowance, is to be included in the net weight for duty (see paragraph 527). When the samples are returned, &c.,—to end of paragraph.
Paragraph 527.—When tobacco is cleared for home consumption at the landing net weight, the usual allowance on the samples is to be deducted (see paragraph 161). If before removal to another warehouse, &c.,—to end of paragraph.
Copies of the Code in official use are to be noted accordingly.

Duplicate Permits in certain cases of delivery of Spirits and Unmanufcatured Tabacoo.
The Board direct that, on and after the receipt of this Order, in every case of the delivery of foreign spirits and unmanufactured tobacco, duty paid, from any Customs bonded warehouse within the United Kingdom, as to which the permit shows the destination of the spirits or of the tobacco, as the case may be,
