In such cases, "Rev." refers to Statutory Rules and Orders and Statutory Instruments Revised Third Edition , to 31 Dec. 1948) and "Rev., 1903" to Statutory Rules and Orders Revised (Second Edition, to 31 Dec. 1903), the principal numeral referring in each case to the volume in the edition concerned.
