in accordance with AITI's national spectrum plan, to accommodate ISRO requirements. ISRO will provide all technical information required by the Government of Brunei Darussalam and AITI.

1.3.2 The operation of ISRO TTC Station will be subject to payment of any relevant fees and charges that may be levied by AITI and the Government of Brunei Darussalam including, but not limited to, fees for an earth station license and a frequency usage.

1.3.3 In the event of any harmful interference, ISRO will take prompt remedial measures including, if required by AITI, cessation of transmission suitably to eliminate harmful interference. On its part AITI will take due note of ISRO frequency assignment before authorizing any new radio frequency operation and installation in the neighbourhood of the station. during the validity of this Memorandum of Understanding.

1.3.4 ISRO will inform AITI and TelBru in writing at least one (1) month in advance of their scheduled period of transmission and reception of the frequencies.

PARAGRAPH 2

ARRANGEMENTS WITH RELEVANT AGENCIES

The Participants will take appropriate measures to encourage the relevant bodies, organizations and companies of both countries to cooperate and implement the activities under this Memorandum of Understanding.

PARAGRAPH 3

PREMISES, EQUIPMENT AND FINANCIAL ARRANGEMENTS

3.1 The Government of Brunei Darussalam will ensure that an area of approximately 50 meters x 50 meters within the campus of Submarine Cable Station, Tungku (hereinafter referred to as the 'said premises') is made available by TelBru to ISRO for the ISRO TTC station.

3.2 ISRO will enter into a separate lease agreement with TelBru for the rental of the said premises.

3.3 The entire cost of the equipment, rental of premises, land usage, local charges such as electricity, telecommunications, water and other facilities and utilities connected to the ISRO TTC Station, buildings and installation of the ISRO TTC station will be borne by the Government of the Republic of India.
