Iolaus.

Never: for the God's altar shall avail,
And the free land whereunto we have come.


Kopreus.

Ha! wouldst thou find some work for this mine hand?


Iolaus.

Nor me nor these by force shalt thou hale hence.


Kopreus.

That shalt thou prove: ill seer thou art in this. 65

[Seizes children.

Iolaus (resisting).

This shall not be!—no, never while I live!


Kopreus.

Hands off!—these will I hale, though thou say nay,
Accounting them Eurystheus': his they are.

[Hurls Iolaus to the ground.
