  1. மிகுதி ஆசை அதிக நஷ்டம்.
    The greater the inordinate desire, the greater the loss.
  2. மிகுதி உள்ளவனுக்கும் வஞ்சனைக்காரனுக்கும் பகை, வேதக்காரனுக்கும் உலகத்திற்கும் பகை.
    Enmity exists between the wealthy and the hypocrite, and between a religious man and the world.
