  1. பெரு வயிறு கொண்டது அறியாமல் சீமந்தத்திற்கு நாள் இட்டுக் கொண்டான்.

  7. பெற்ற மனம் பித்து, பிள்ளை மனம் கல்லு.
    The mother’s heart is soft, that of her child is as a stone.
  8. பெற்றோர்க்கு இல்லைச் சுற்றமும் சினமும்.
    The wise are not moved by relationship or anger.
