  1. புதியாரை நம்பிப் பழையாரைக் கைவிடலாமா?
    Is it right to forsake old friends in reliance on new ones?
  2. புதுக் குடத்திலே வார்த்த தண்ணீர்.

  3. புதுப் பானைக்கு ஈ சேராது.

  10. புத்திமான் பலவான்.

  11. புத்தி முற்றினவர்க்குச் சித்தியாதது ஒன்றும் இல்லை.
    There is nothing in which the mature in judgment fail.
  12. புத்தி உறப் புகழ்.
    As soundness of judgment increases, praise will follow.
  13. புத்தி அற்றவர்கள் பத்தியாய்ச் செய்வதும் விபரீதமாம்.
    Even that which fools perform earnestly is wrong.
