  1. கோடி சீமான் துணியவேண்டும், அல்லது கோவண ஆண்டி துணியவேண்டும்.
    An attempt is to be made either by the wealthy, or by a beggar that has only a span-long cloth.
  2. கோடி தனம் இருந்தாலும் குணம் இல்லா மங்கையை மணம் முடிக்கல் ஆகாது.
    It is not good to marry a girl, no matter how great her wealth, if her natural temper is exceptionable.
  3. கோடீசுவரன் ஆகவேண்டுமோ, அல்லது லக்ஷாதிபதி ஆகவேண்டுமோ?

  8. கோட்டுச் சம்பா ஆக்கிவைத்தால் போட்டுச் சாப்பிட வருவார்கள்.
    If samba rice is boiled, they will come and eat.
  9. கோட்டையில் பெண் பிறந்தாலும் போட்ட எழுத்துப் போகுமா?
    Will destiny be averted because the female was born in a fort?
  10. கோட்டைக்குள்ளே குத்தும் வெட்டுமா?
    Can a great battle be fought in a fort?
