    Will the rice consumed in a dream appease hunger?
  6. கனவிலே கண்டவனுக்குப் பெண் கொடுத்த கதை.
    The story of a woman given in marriage to a man seen in a dream.
  7. கனிந்த பழம் தானே விழும்.
    Ripe fruit falls of itself.
  8. கனிந்த பழம் நீர் தின்றீர் காயை உலுக்கிவிட்டீர்.
    You have eaten the ripe fruit, and you have shaken off the unripe.
  9. கனியை விட்டுக் காயைத் தின்கிறதா?
    What, to leave ripe fruit and to eat unripe?
  10. கன்மத்தினாற் சாதியன்றிச் சென்மத்தினால் இல்லை.
    Caste arises from action, it is not from birth.
  11. கனமழை பெய்தாலும் கருங்கல் கரையுமா?
    Will granite be dissolved by any amount of hail?
  12. கன்மத்தினால் வந்தது தன்மந்தினால் போகவேண்டும்.
    That which has come of action-sin-must go by alms giving religious merit.
