Note.In working backwards or forwards with this Table , it is useful to bear in mind that (for instance) March 21st may be expressed as "49 February", or "50 February" in a Leap-year. "36 March" would mean April 5th; and so on.

Cols. 1, 2, 4, 5 give the European year, day of the month, week-day, and time of occurrence, i.e. hour and minute, of mean Meshā saṁkrānti, in Laṅkā time. Col. 3 shows the serial number of the day, measured from January 1st as 1, in conformity with Table IX. of the Indian Calendar.
