  1. The equal-space system and that of Garga have no nakshatra Abhijit. But Dr. Fleet tells me that some almanacs which follow the equal-space system show Abhijit, so far as it figures in the course of t he sun, as a secondary or parenthetical detail, overlapping the end of Uttarā Ashāḍhā and the beginning of Śravaṇa. It begins at 276° 43′ and ends at 280° 52′.
