Ina receiver for the purpose deseribed, the combination ofasuitable carrier, two lines of type carried thereby, an impression-roller eoéperating with each line, a slide-hoad, a po- larized relay which causes the slide-head to actuate either impressiou-roeller, coulact- plates, a collecting device coéperating with the contact-plates and connected electrically with said relay, and means forsimultancously actuating the slide-head, carrier and collect- ing device, substantially as set forth.

In an assembly voting apparatus, the combination with a transmitter, of a totalixer electrically connected to and operated from said transmitter and employing ashaft,means for driving the shaft, a number-disk on the shaft, an escapement-wheel, an escapement for permitting feed movements of said wheel, w magueb for achuating said escapomont, a wide tooth on the ascapoment-wheel, an ex- tension on the escapement, and means for shifting the escapement-wheel and escape- ment relatively to each other, substantially as set forth.

In an assembly voting apparatus, the combination with a transmitter, of a totalizer electrically connected to and operated from said transmitterand employing a shaft,means for driving the shaft, a number-disk ou the shaft, an escapement-wheel, an escapemecnt for permitting feed movements of said wheel, a magnet for actuating said escapement, a wide tooth ou the escapement-wheel, an ex- tansion on the escapement, and means for shifting the escapemont-wheel on said shaft, substantially as seb forth.

In au assembly voting apparatus, the combination with a transmitter, of atotalizer electrically connected to and operated from said transmitter and employing a shaft,moans for driving the shaft, a number-disk on the shaft, an escapement~vheel, an escapement for permitting foed movements of said wheel, a magnet for actuating said escapement, a wide tooth on the oseapement-whocel, an ex- tension on the escapement, and a magnet for shifting the escapement-wheel on said shaft, substantially as set forth.
