But contrary to what you assume, the rivulet doesn't dry up completely. After a few weeks, the reason becomes clear: The towers of the city now soar far above the clouds and enough water collects on their surface that it does not immediately freeze into ice and flows into the riverbed. But it doesn't become more than a tiny rivulet. Years later, you wonder if there couldn't have been a better solution.
