The box rattles, then it shows the finished word:

The word for breaking. You hear a soft crack, then a crash, and finally the box disintegrates into its component parts. It is quiet for a while. But then you hear a rumbling around you. Crack! There, a tear in the wall! Crack! There, another one. You don't know if you're safe here, and you run back to the city.

Outside, you see thin lines of cracks and tears appearing on the towers and running through the tunnel entrances. It quickly becomes clear that the entire city is threatened and the residents run for safety. Within a few hours, the cracks grow larger, buildings and tunnels slowly collapse, and by the end of the day, the entire city is uninhabitable.
