and beneath the canopy, which is formed by a portion of the octagon, a Gothic altar is erected, on which is placed an exquisite bust of the Princess in statuary marble.

The print of the interior of the building, which accompanies the pathetic poetical lines at page 36 of this volume, exhibits its appearance as viewed from the door-way—the external view is taken near the Temple, as it is approached by a path from the mansion.
