Richard Fletcher, bishop of Bristol, was elected to this see 24th Jan 1592-3, confirmed 10th Feb. following[2]. He was elected to London 30th Dec. 1594[3].

Thomas Bilson, S.T.P., was elected 20th April 1596, confirmed 11th June, consecrated at Lambeth on the 13th of the same month[4], and the temporalities were restored to him 27th July[5]. In May 1597 he was translated to Winchester[6].

Gervase Barrington, bishop of Exeter, was nominated
by the Queen to this see 30th Aug. 1597, elected 15th
Sept., and confirmed 4th Oct.[7]; the temporalities
were restored to him 15th Oct.[8]. He died 17th May
1610, ætat. 60[9].

Henry Parry, bishop of Gloucester, was elected to this geo 13th July 1610, and confirmed 5th Oct. following[10]. He died 12th Dec. 1616, and was buried in his own cathedral. His will is in the Prerogative Office of Canterbury[11].

John Thornborough, bishop of Bristol, was elected to
this see 25th Jan. 1616—17, and confirmed 17th Feb.
following. He died at Hartlebury Castle 19th July
1641, and was buried in Worcester cathedral. His
will is in the Pertrogative Office of Canterbury[12].
The license to elect a bishop in the room of John Thornborough issued 11th Nov. 1641[13].

was elected 22nd Nov. 1641, had the royal assent on
