George Hall, S.T.P., was appointed by patent 19th July, and installed 28th July 1660: void by the death of Godfrey Goodman[1]. In 1662 Hall was made bishop of Chester.
George Evans, M.A., was appointed by patent 26th July, and installed 30th July 1660: void by the death of Nathaniel Gyles[2]. Evans died 2nd March 1701-2.
William Chamberlain, S.T.P., was appointed by patent 25th July, and installed 2nd Aug. 1660: void by the death of David Collins[3]. Chamberlain died 18th May 1666.
John Heaver, S.T.P,, was appointed by patent 22nd Feb., and installed 12th March 1661—2 : void by the promotion of Herbert Croft to the see of Hereford[4]. Heaver died 23rd June 1670.
Henry Carpenter, S.T.P., was appointed by patent 14th May, and installed 20th May 1662 : void by the promotion of George Hall to the see of Chester[5].
Carpenter died 14th Oct. the same year. Peter Mewes, LL.D., was appointed by patent 25th Oct. and installed 30th Oct. 1662 : void by the death of Henry Carpenter[6]. In 1672 Mewes was made bishop of Bath and Wells.
John Durell, M.A., was appointed by patent 6th Feb., and installed i ith Feb. 1663—4: void by the death of Anthony Hawles[7]. He became dean of this chapel.
Richard Milward, S.T.P., was appointed by patent 31st May, and installed 30th June 1666 : void by the death of NVilliam Chamberlain. Milward died 20th Dec. 1680.
John Butler, S.T.P. , was installed 26th Jan. 1668-9: void by the death of George Gillingham. Butler was
buried 2nd Aug. 1682, with his wife Susannah.
