Catholic Schools of American Czechs and Slovaks to Compete in the Brno Exposition.
The Czechoslovak Republic thru its Ministry of Education has invited the schools of American Czechs and Slovaks to take part in the Exposition of Contemporary Culture to be held this summer in the Moravian center, the city of Brno.
The American schools are given a place of their own in the division of Czech and Slovak Schools in the Foreign Countries. Material for this exposition is to be mainly written work, drawings, and creative art. Likewise pictures of schools, classrooms, and student groups (size 8x12 inches). Interest is keen and the American seetion will be creditably represented by our parish schools, academies and college. This project is jointly sponsored by the Chicago Czechoslovak Consul, St. Procopius College and the National Alliance.
Since this year is the tenth anniversary of Czechoslovak Independence, many tourists will visit the Republic to attend the celebration in Prague and the Exposition in Brno.
