RAVENSTEIN, PAUL VON, born in
Breslau, Oct. 23, 1854. Landscape painter,
pupil in Carlsruhe, of Gude, studied nature
in the Silesian mountains, the German Alps,

and settled at Westerborg,
Drenthe. Member of Amsterdam
