¶A medecyne foꝛ the Entreyllis.
Take yolkys of Egges rawe. and whan they be wele beton to gedeꝛ. put theꝛto ſpanyſhe ſalte. and aſmych hony theꝛto. ⁊ weete theꝛin thy fleſhe. and fede thyn hawke .iij. days theꝛwith and if ſhe make daunger to eete it. let holde thyn hawke. and make hiꝛ to ſwalow .iij. oꝛ .iiij. moꝛcellis in a day. and ſecuꝛli ſhe ſhall be hoott ¶Yit I ſhall ſay to yow a nodeꝛ thyng. take hony at the choungyng of the moon. and a kene nettyll and theꝛof make ſmall powdre and when it is well grownde. take ye breſt boon of an henne. and a nodeꝛ of a colueꝛ. and hakke it with a knyfe. and do away the ſkynne. and do theꝛon the powdre and all hoote with the powdre fede hiꝛ. and do ſo thries. and ſhe ſhall be hoott.
¶ Foꝛ ſekenes of Swellyng.
Iff an wicked felon be ſwollyn in ſich a maneꝛ yt a man may heell it. that the hawke ſhall not dye thus a man may helpe hiꝛ ſtrongly. and lengthe hiꝛ lyfe. bot the hawke will be veꝛy eegre and gleetous of the ſeekenes· and theꝛfoꝛ ye mooſt
