And alfo that he deſyred the ſauacyon of the mayde/ by entyſyng of the deuyl that moeuyd hym / he thenne put hym ſelf to prayer in wepynge / and there fyl a ſlepe / and ſawe by a vyfyon that he was broughte in to a medowe arayed wyth fayr floures / there where the leuys of the trees demened a ſwete ſounde/ whiche came by a wynde agreable/ and therout yſſued a merueyllous odour/ and the fruyte was right fayre to ſee/ and right delectable of taſte/ and there were ſetes of golde and ſyluer and precyous ſtones / and the beddes were noble and precyouſly adurned/ and ryght clere water ranne there by / and after that he entred in to a cyte of which the walles were of fyne golde / and ſhone by meruayllous clereneſſe/ and ſawe in the ayer ſomme that ſange a ſonge/ that neuer eer of mortal man herde lyke/ and it was ſayd this is the place of bleſſyd ſayntes / and as they wolde haue had hym thens/ he prayed them that
