There were also found bones of bear, fox, hare, seal, swan and goose.

House ruin 5. In this ruin, built on to 4, excavations were made to a depth of 1.1 m, and there were found: Two harpoon heads of Thule type 2 and one of type 3; foreshaft (?) of ice hunting harpoon; finger rest (Pl. 82.14); handle for drag line (Pl. 82.16); unfinished arrow head with one Image missingFig. 107.House Ruins 6–7, Malerualik. barb; two small arrow heads with barbs; side prong for a toy salmon spear? (Pl. 82.13); barb (?) for a salmon spear; two leister prongs; two sledge shoes, of whalebone and antler; snow knife (Pl. 83.9); knife handle with end blade socket and suspension hole (Pl. 83.8); whetting stone; 4 wedges; scraper of caribou scapula; two tubes of bird bone (needle case?, sucking tube?); six marrow extractors and similar bone points; 9 indeterminable objects of bone, including four points (Pl. 84.8 and 11); a broken toy knife of wood; a piece of green quartz.

House ruin 6. The form and dimensions of this house, which is built together with 7, will appear from the sketch fig. 107. The walls, built of stones and turf, and the roof, which has been constructed of large, flat stones, had collapsed into the house, which was partly overgrown with turf; fireplaces could be discerned in both houses, one to the left, the other to the right of the doorway. In the houses there were many bones, especially caribou, but also seal and not a few whale bones; a large piece of whale rib was built into the wall just to the right of the entrance to 7.

In house 6 there were found: a harpoon head of Thule type 2 (Pl. 82.1); two ice picks; two arrow heads with one barb and owner's mark (Pl. 82.6 and fig. 108); arrow head without barb, with conical tang; peg for throwing board (?); ice scoop (Pl. 83.3); sledge shoe, antler; toy kayak paddle (Pl. 83.4); knife handle with end blade socket and suspension hole; unfinished, large knife handle; heavy wedge; colouring stone (?); two ulos (Pl. 84.2–3); shards of rounded, soapstone cooking pots; piece of pottery (Pl. 84.12); marrow extractor; 3 bone points; two indeterminable objects of bone.
