"I've got to go into the city to-*morrow; want to come along?" he asked. Miles shook his head slowly.
"Afternoon?"
"Morning; first train."
"N-no, I guess not. Not unless it rains."
"Not unless it rains!" repeated Hunter, in wonder. "Why do you want to go if it rains?"
