可講話 Thang kóng-ōe, May speak.
取物 The̍h mi̍h, Take things.
聽人講話 Thiaⁿ lâng kóng-õe, Hear one talk.
打算宜問 Phah-sǹg tio̍h mn̄g, I think we ought to ask.
入去講 Ji̍p khì kóng, Go in and tell them.
婦人出來 Hū-jîn-lâng chhut lâi, The women come out.
不可出 M̄-thang chhut, Must not go out.
應取物來 Tio̍h the̍h mi̍h lâi, Must bring the things here,

我看不到 Góa khòaⁿ bô tio̍h, I cannot see it at all.
無人可差 Bô lang thang chhe, There is no one that can be sent.
他好講話 I ài kóng-ōe, He is fond of talking.
長不好 Tn̂g m̄-hó, A long one is not good.
門宜闊 Mn̂g tio̍h khoah, The door ought to be wide.
高低俱好 Koâiⁿ kē lóng hó, High or low is equally good.
少人來 Tsió lâng lâi, Few people come.
多話不好 Tsōe ōe m̄ hó, Many words are not good.
