小 Sòe, Small,
新 Sin, New, newly.
舊 Kū, Old.
天 Thiⁿ, Heaven.
地 Tōe, Earth.
水 Tsúi, Water.
我知 Góa tsai, I know.
他不識我 I m̄-bat--góa, He does not know me.
識善惡 Bat hó pháiⁿ, Can distinguish between good and bad.
他知人 I tsai lâng, He understands men.
讓善人 Bat hó lang, Acquainted with good men.
他離開我們 I lī-khui goán, He leaves us.
等候我來 Thèng-hāu góa lâi, Wait till I come.
上天 Tsiūⁿ thiⁿ, Ascend to heaven.
他要行 I beh kiâⁿ, He will walk.
走來 Tsáu--lâi, Run here.
我新來 Góa sin lâi, I am newly come.
行善 Kiâⁿ hó, Do good.
離開惡人 Lī-khui pháiⁿ-lâng, Leave bad men.
他到我去 I kàu góa khì, When he arrives I go.
走去呌他 Tsáu khì kiò--i, Run and call him.
俱各落水 Lóng-tsóng lo̍h tsúi, All went down into the water.
走來走去 Tsáu-lâi, tsáu-khì, Run about.
上落 Tsiūⁿ lo̍h, Ascend and descend.
天地 Thiⁿ tōe, Heaven and earth.
大小 Tōa sòe, Large and small.
新舊 Sin kū, New and old.
好天 Hó thiⁿ, Fine weather.
歹天 Pháiⁿ thiⁿ, Bad weather.
各個欲好天 Ta̍k-ê ài hó-thiⁿ, Every one likes fine weather.
呌他落來 Kiò--i lo̍h--lâi, Call him to come down.
