on THIRUKKURAL

Scope

The Bibiliography of Thirukkural is a selective one. Only such of those items as are significant for research and advanced studies are included.

The script of the bibiliography is Roman ans the annotations are in English. No system of transliteration is followed in rendering the author, title statements in the Roman script. The popular form is adopted.

Arrangement

The bibiliography is classified, the Colon Classification, ed. 6 being used for the filiation of entries. The translations are given separately. Each entry is serially numbered.

There is an index of authors and titles and reference is made to the serial number of the entry.
