Epacris microphylla, Br.

This well known Australian plant is only known in a single locality in New Zealand, on the southern shore of the Manukau Harbour, and may possibly be introduced and not a true native. It has a pretty and graceful mode of growth, harmonizing very well with the Leptospermum and Pomaderris scrub with which it is usually associated. It flowers in November.
