Charges Fraud By Prospective Partners

Wesley Sanford, 58, a barge captain, of 391 Baldwin avenue, Jersey City, was arrested yesterday afternoon on a warrant issued by Judge Leo Sullivan, on a charge of false pretense on complaint of Alex Epispon, 26 Long street. Sanford gave Epispon $160 with which he was to purchase a horse wagon and harness, as they had decided to go into partnership in the peddling business, but the purchase failed to materialize, according to the complainant.
