Dictionary of Greek and Roman Geography/Cosa 2.

COSA, a town m Gallia, is placed in the Table on a road from Tolosa (Toulouse) to Divona (Cahors). The distance of Cosa from Divona is marked 20 Gallic leagues; which is too much, if the place is Cos or Coz,—as it seems to be,—on the river Aveiron, which flows into the Tarn, a branch of the Garonne.
