​ACHERDUS (Ἀχερδοῦς, -οῦντος: Eth. Ἀχερδούσιος), a demus of Attica of uncertain site, belonging to the tribe Hippothoontis. Aristophanes (Eccl. 362) in joke, uses the form Ἀχραδούσιος instead of Ἁχερδούσιος. (Steph. B. s. vv. Ἀχερδοῦς, Ἀχραδοῦς; Aeschin. in Tim. § 110, ed. Bekker; Leake, Demi of Attica, p. 185.)
